ABOUT KYLE MOORE
Kyle Moore is the former mayor of Quincy, IL. The first Republican elected to the position since 1981, Moore passed the city's first balanced budget since 1999, while still investing in infrastructure and law enforcement. He also increased city savings from $1.2 million to $6.5 million. He is well-remembered for fighting to protect the Quincy Veterans' Home to ensure veterans were taken care of within the community.
Today, Kyle serves as president of the Great River Economic Development Foundation and is a member of the NRA and the Adams County Farm Bureau; he was also a former board member of the county's Right to Life organization. Moore was the former chairman of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central IL and was the VP/co-owner of Moore's Floors until 2013. He is a graduate of Quincy University.
A conservative Republican, Kyle Moore is focused on upholding the First and Second Amendments of the Constitution, for these are the two rights that underpin all the others. He will fight to defend the unborn and has a proven record of cutting taxes and red tape in local government. Now, he wants to hold politicians accountable in the Illinois State House and improve the transparency of state government.
As a former small business owner, Moore understands the struggles of trying to make ends meet; he will work to support the state's family businesses during these tough economic times. Likewise, improving local infrastructure continues to be a top priority for Moore. Additionally, he will support our law enforcement officers and ensure our neighborhoods remain safe places to live, run a business, and raise a family.
